Utilities

In Westerville, we control our destiny. In June 2012, when a powerful wind storm blew in and out of town in less than 30 minutes, leaving destruction all over Central Ohio, city services sprang into action before the storm had even fully cleared. By the end of the weekend, with an estimated two million people in the storm’s path, Westerville crews had restored service and removed dangerous storm debris. This is just one example of the many benefits provided by municipally owned and operated utilities.

Electric Division
The Westerville Electric Division is the only municipally owned and operated suburban electric provider in Central Ohio. The division is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in order to provide immediate response to outages and other customer problems.
